Resolutions Calling for Repeal of Telecommunications Act of 1996

"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has." Margaret Mead

These resolutions need to go to the LAUSD. This is what they did and the concerns they expressed.

We need to get more resolutions from more counties and cities and get all of them into the record for the FCC's current proceeding. The Smart Meter action cities and counties are the place to start. Also, any organizations that have expressed opposition to Smart Meters or cell towers. The Santa Barbara Co, Pima Co., and LA Co. are particularly good resolutions, with elements that could be combined together to be more powerful. We can bring this up at any meetings next week, with the text of a resolution submitted, and then request it be put on the agenda for the following meeting. City councils met this week, and may not meet for two weeks, but it could be put on the agenda in two weeks if councilmembers were interested.
