About the EY Center for Board Matters

Effective corporate governance is an important element in building a better working world. In the Americas, the EY Center for Board Matters supports boards, committees and directors in their oversight role by providing content, insights and education to help them address complex boardroom issues. The Center collects and analyzes governance data for more than 3,000 public companies listed in the US through its proprietary corporate governance database. Data covers board and committee composition, organization and leadership structures; director election procedures and board diversity matters; proxy statement disclosure practices; management and shareholder proposals and vote results; and more.
