we had a ‘thunderstorm’ and electricity down yesterday. The forecast was sunny all day but the trails had been sprayed every morning since Saturday -the sky is now clearing and the temperatures are heading back up to 30C again by the weekend.
interesting apparently the last time it was like this was 1933 (what else happened in 1933?)

Note how it is played as the government doesn’t have the means to manage the ‘burden on the people’ so is doing them a favour by ‘off-loading’ on to the private sector.
